天啊 看到最新發佈的OPT條款,四月八日生效
以下總結我以OPT status 分
現有OPT者：
如果你是H1 pending status，可以申請OPT延期十八個月 (不限科系)
從四月八日開始的三個月，如果你沒有找到工作，那你的Ｆ１身分失效，所以七月八日起的六十天內，就要離境
如果你找到工作，向學校報備過後，就可以工作至原有的ＯＰＴ期限
如果你是屬於ＳＴＥＭ的話，那你可以提出OPT延期十八個月 的申請(但必須和所學相關公司也要做E-verify program)
如果你在過期後之六十天內，轉換身份，那你可以繼續待在美國
四月八號後申請或生效者：
不分科系 大家都是一年的ＯＰＴ
不分科系 大家都是三個月內要找到工作 如果沒有找到六十天那要離境 如果在這六十天內，轉換身份，就不用離境
不分科系 可以在學業結束前九十天至結束六十天提出ＯＰＴ申請 （所以生效期間，應該可以是畢業後六十天吧 這個我就沒有看到了 可是按照原來的規定 就是這意思）
STEM科系 找到工作 可以提出OPT延期十八個月，所以總共是二十九個月，可以慢慢等Ｈ１
基本上有五個月可以找工作吧 所以還是畢業前就開始找吧
***小道消息指出 全美只有1%的公司 有加入E-Verify...所以...這條三個月內找到工作的規定...不知會生效多久...因為行不通...***

2. If you are not employed currently, you need to be employed within three months from 4/8. Otherwise, you will lose your F1 status and have to leave within 60 days. But if you change your status within this 60 days, then you can stay in the US.
3. IF you find a job within three months, then you need to report to the school so they can put it into the SERVIS. If you have STEM degree, then you can apply for the 18-month extension (The job must be related to your degree and the company must do the E-verify program).

For everybody, you can apply OPT 90 days prior graduation and 60 days after. (So I think the effective dates can be all the way up to 60 days after graduation)

***According to reliable sources, only 1% of US company is enrolled in the E-verify program....so the rule of finding a job in three months...see how long it will last***
